LA FAITHFULL DESIGNS

Created by Lisa Anne Faithfull, LA FAITHFULL DESIGNS was born from a concept that Spaces, like people, can have life or tell a story.

They just need the right person to bring that story to life.

With a love for all things Design from a very young age, A diploma of Interior Design and a Background in Events and Music Lisa has the unique ability to read mood and tones of a space before Physical fitouts or soft furnishings are ever added.

Lisa has a talent for listening to what the space needs telling its story in a beautiful way.

“I have always loved creating spaces that look or feel a certain way, I have always had the mantra these events or spaces need to make people feel something, and I love working with clients and their spaces/ events to work out what that something is”

Undertaking her first Commercial Project in 2018 LA FAITHFULL DESIGNS completed Melbournes first 5 Star Luxury Boutique Personal Training Studio, ASHLEY FAITHFULL TRAINING STUDIOS KING STREET.

This project was heritage listed, and a huge re model of King Street (Melbourne’s) oldest recorded building. The fact that this space had so much history, Lisa felt indebted to do it justice and bring life back to this glorious space on King Street.

With Luxury in mind that also respected the heritage nature of this project a full scale interior demolition and renovation project began. The controlled and considered nature of the King Street design brought light and life to a space grounded by original bluestone foundations and brickwork, which Lisa lovingly restored to feature in the hallway of the studio.

A project which Lisa Managed from Concept to Completion, including Remodel, Design and Project Managing a small Build Team, and hand painting the 700 original rafter beams on the training floor so they were “just right’ Ashley Faithfull Training Studios King Street was a true labour of love.

Followed closely in 2019 by “WELLNESS HUB @ ST COLLINS LANE’

Lisa was commissioned by St Collins to breathe life into an empty retail hub located in Melbourne’s most prestigious Shopping Complex. A project to give back to the local community. Offering a luxurious oasis to escape from the Hustle and Bustle of CDB life.

With a client brief to create an Zen escape for office workers to practise Yoga & Meditation Lisa’s skills in both design and music, lead to the creation of a beautiful serene space, which was an all sense encompassing journey that took you somewhere else.

Clever lighting design and a refined eye for detail meant the restrained nature of this space allowed the visitors to focus on their practise and not the space which is key to Yoga Design… however clients commented constantly on how such a space made them “feel”.

Most recently 2020 Lisa has completed AF TRAINING STUDIOS OLDERFLEET 477 COLLINS.

Her second Boutique Luxury Fitness Studio is located in one of MIRVAC AUSTRALIAS most Luxurious 5 Star Buildings. A huge project undertaking and Project to manage through the COVID19 Pandemic and Closures.

In this space Lisa paid homage to the Heritage facade of the Olderfleet building, while taking you on a very sleek, dark and sophisticated journey.

“each project or space asks different things of me as a designer and this one simply didn’t speak in bright tones like the original King Street Studio, this 2nd space demanded to be dark sexy and moody”

Lisa fully Project managed this build and was on site to hand select every last detail… Including the stunning centre piece of the space her Custom Copper work Drinking Fountain offering clients Still & Sparkling water for their training sessions, which Lisa personally created with TBTI Plumbing. This fountain grew from a sketch Lisa drew on the drywall late one night, and developed into what is now, a show stopping centrepeice of the foyer area.

Lisa’s Design reaches well past just completion of the project her services go on to include, styling of the space, how the space will function, how the space will sound, smell, feel and how a client will experience the space.

LA FAITHFULL DESIGNS are currently working on a number of Residential Remodels & Event Concepts for Retail Spaces.
